ARMENIA, Cilician Armenia. Royal. Hetoum I, 1226-1270. Tank (Bronze, 30 mm, 6.79 g, 1 h), Sis. 'Hetoum King of the Armenians' (in Armenian) Hetoum seated facing on throne, holding fleur-de-lis in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Rev. 'Struck in the city of Sis' (in Armenian) Large cross with pellets with pellets at the ends; in angles, eight-pointed stars. CCA 1363. A well struck example with an attractive green patina. Minor corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
